Giovana dos Santos signs for Granadilla Tenerife and will join the Spanish club from São Paulo. She signed a contract until the end of the season, with an option for two more years.
The 19-year-old has been part of São Paulo her whole senior career. Between 2017 and 2019, she won Paulista championship three times in a row with her team. A Brazilian international forward in the U-20 category will move abroad for the first time in her career. Dos Santos has become a third newcomer in Granadilla team after Gisela Robledo and Veronica Herrera have already joined the team.
“I am very excited to be coming to Europe, it will be a huge challenge and a very important step in my career, but I am calm because I know that there is no better place to start this adventure than UDG Tenerife,” said dos Santos.
