Grace Asantewaa joins Real Betis

Grace Asantewaa joins Real Betis from EDF Logroño. She signed a two-year contract.

The 20-year-old arrived to EDF Logroño in 2019. The Ghanian defender previously played in her home country for Ampem Darkoa Ladies. In her first two seasons in Liga Iberdrola, she played in 45 matches for Logroño, who got relegated to the second division in the last season.

“First of all I want to say thank you. I am very happy to be here in Seville. I’ve had the chance to talk to the coach and he’s also happy to have me. I’m convinced that I’m going to show everything I can give. From the start I’m going to help the team, so let’s go for it,” Asantewaa said.
