Javiera Toro moves to Granadilla Tenerife

Javiera Toro moves to Granadilla Tenerife on a free transfer after leaving Sevilla FC. She signed a contract until the end of the season with an option for an additional year.

The 24-year-old who is one of the biggest Chilean talents, played in her homeland before joining Sevilla in 2020. The young defender fit well in Sevilla’s team, making over 40 appearances in Liga Iberdrola. On the international stage, Toro already debuted for the national team and participated in World Cup and Olympics.

“I’m very excited to face this new adventure in my career, in one of the best teams in Spain. Once the club contacted me I didn’t hesitate for a moment to accept their proposal,” said Toro, who joins Claudia Blanco, Sydny Nasello and Laura Ortega as new summer signings
