Kosovare Asllani extends with Real Madrid for one more season and will stay in the Spanish capital until end of the next season.
The 31-year-old was announced Real Madrid’s best player of the season just a few days ago. The Swedish international has played 29 games and finished the season as Real Madrid’s top scorer with 16 goals. Asllani followed her teammates, Aurelie Kaci, Peter Babbet and Lorena Navarro who have already extended their contracts with the club as well as coach David Aznar.
“I think we’ve had a very good season, because it’s Real Madrid’s first year. The most important thing is that we have achieved a place in next season’s Champions League and we are very happy about that,” Asllani said.
Apart from Assllani, also Malena Ortiz extended her contract with Las Blancas for another year, until June 2022.
