Kosovare Asllani suffers knee injury during the weekend game against UD Granadilla Tenerife. She could be sidelined for more than one month.
The 32-year-old Swedish striker, who joined Real Madrid last year, had to be substituted at the half-time of the last Liga Iberdrola game. After further examinations, the doctors said Asllani ruptured lateral knee ligament. That means that she could return to football fields only in November.
Another hit for Las Blancas, who are also without Marta Cardona and Maite Oroz that are still recovering. Consequentially, Real Madrid had a poor start into the new season, with only one point from three games.
