Leticia Méndez joins Sporting Huelva

Leticia Méndez joins Sporting Huelva from EDF Logroño.

The experienced 28-year-old spent the last two seasons with EDF Logroño, who got relegated from the Liga Iberdrola in the last season. The left-footed defender has experience from different clubs across Spain, including Atlético Madrid and Levante. During the previous season, she played in 20 matches. Méndez is the second Sporting Huelva signing after Judith Luzuriaga, who also arrived from EDF Logroño.

“I hope to improve individually, to continue to be enthusiastic, to improve day by day, and collectively to achieve the objectives. In the end, last year, if I’m not mistaken, Sporting Huelva finished in tenth place. I hope we can improve in the next season,” said Méndez.
