Levante sign Maria Korenčiová

Levante sign Maria Korenčiová, who moves to Spain after three and a half seasons with AC Milan. She signed a contract until the end of the season.

The Slovakian goalkeeper was number one between the post in Rossonere team and extended her contract back in August. During her time in Milano, she played 56 matches. Previously, she also played in Germany for SC Freiburg and SC Sand, in Switzerland for Neunkirch and for Slavia in the Czech Republic. The 32-year-old, with almost 100 caps for Slovak national team, was declared Slovak player of the year in 2020.

“It’s a new challenge for me because I have never played in Spain. Levante mean a lot in the women’s football and I know that I improve and learn something,” said Korenčiová.
