Luca Deza transfers to Granadilla Tenerife from Sevilla FC. She signed a contract until the end of the season with an option for an additional year.
The 23-year-old arrived to Spain in December 2020 after having previously played college football in the US. After arrival, she played just 4 matches before suffering a serious injury. In the current season, the American, who also holds a Spanish and Japanese passport, did not get playing time thus decided to change the club, despite the fact she extended the contract back in August.
“I am very excited and happy to have signed for UDG Tenerife. I’m coming to a club that is constantly growing in the elite and I think it’s the ideal place to continue my growth as a professional,” said Deza.
