Macarena Portales and María Molina join Valencia

Macarena Portales and María Molina join Valencia. Both players signed a two-year contract, until June 2024.
The 23-year-old Portales arrives from Inter after she previously also played for Fundacion Albacete, Prainsa Zaragoza and Sevilla, before joining Madrid CFF in 2019. In the Spanish capital, Portales made 49 appearances before leaving her homeland and signing for Inter. For Neroazzurre, the Spanish striker played 16 matches in the last season. Portales is another signing for Valencia in the last couple of days, joining Anita Marcos, Liced Serna and Cosette Morche.
“I think Valencia CF is a Club that is growing, and what I would like is to grow with the team. I hope to give my best. It’s exciting, it’s comforting, it’s everything. I am very happy to be here, with all of you,” added Portales.

The 22-year-old Molina debuted in Liga Iberdrola with RCD Espanyol. Later, she moved to the city rivals, Barcelona, where she mostly played for the B team across the last few seasons. Looking for more playing time, the Spanish defender joins Valencia.
“I am very happy to be able to announce that next year we will be together Valencianistas. I will repay the trust placed in me with effort and hard work, giving my best for the team. See you soon,” said Molina.
