Madrid CFF sack Victor Miguel Fernandez

Madrid CFF sack Victor Miguel Fernandez as the head coach of the team after a series of losses.
The 38-year-old has thus finished his third spell on the Madrid’s bench. After working as a goalkeeper coach in 2013, he rejoined the team in 2018, when he managed to avoid relegation. Last summer, Oscar Fernandez left Madrid CFF for their city rivals, Atlético. Fernandez returned to the bench but failed to meet expectations in the current season of Liga Iberdrola. Madrid CFF are currently only on the 11th place, having lost last five matches.
Madrid CFF have been active on the market in the current transfer window. Victoria Albuquerque, Rikke Madsen and Ebba Hed, Lauren Leal, Young-Ju Lee and Michelle De Jongh will all be available for the new coach.
