Malena Mieres signs for Real Betis, joining the club from SD Eibar. She signed a contract that will keep her in the club until June 2024.
The 22-year-old started her senior career with Deportivo Abanca in Reto Iberdrola, with whom she got promoted to the Spanish top flight in 2019. After that, the Spanish goalkeeper joined SD Eibar. For the Basque Contry club, Mieres played 15 matches in the last season. Mieres is fifth summer arrival for Betis, joining Carmen Alvarez, Leles Carrion, Noelia Salazar and Violeta Quiles.
“I think I’ve improved a lot as a goalkeeper over the last few years in the first division. “I really want to compete and feel the Betis badge,” said Mieres.
