Mapi Leon suspended for 4 games for criticising the referee on Twitter following her sending off on the game against Real Madrid.
Mapi León saw the second yellow card after committing a penalty in 80th minute. Real Madrid convered the penalty and scored consolation goal in the 4-1 victory for Barca on 31st of January.
Later, on Twitter, she responded to a user who posted a video of the action with a caption: “How was your day? Because I have the feeling that you have been taken for a ride.”
Como os gusta buscarme 😅, sinceramente? A mi me daría vergüenza… Hoy me ha tocado a mi, pero es una tras otra, el otro día anularon dos goles que eran válidos al que hoy ha sido nuestro rival. Pero para que vamos a mejorar no?

The centre-back responded by commenting to the referee’s decision:
“How do you even bother looking for me, honestly? I’d be ashamed… Today it was my turn, but it’s one after another, the other day they disallowed two of our goals that were valid for our opponents today. But why should we improve?”
The decision from Spanish Federation is generating controversy, as it is the first time that they sanctioned comments that are posted on social networks.
