María Jiménez joins Real Betis

María Jiménez joins Real Betis from a rival Liga F side, Valencia. She signed for two seasons, until June 2025.

The 22-year-old spent last four seasons with Valencia, where she got first top-tier experience, after previously playing for Levante and Elche. In total, the Spanish defender made 60 appearances for the Bats, but just 10 in the last season. Looking for more playing time, Jimenez joined Betis, which also recently signed Carol Ferez, Carla Armengol and Rhiannon Roberts.

“I am very happy, excited and I am very grateful to the club for the confidence it has given me,” said Jimenez.
