María José Pérez extends with Granadilla Tenerife for one more year, until the end of the next season.
The 39-year-old will enter her 10th season with the Canary Islands club. The Spanish forward, who played 266 matches for the club, will become the player with the most appearances in Grandilla history in the next season. Overall, Perez scored over 150 goals in the Spanish top flight.
“To continue with UDG Tenerife means a lot. It’s the team I dreamed of playing for and we achieved it, we are in the elite, doing very important things for the club, for the island and for Canarian football,” said the Canary Islands native.
Tenerife club also announced contract extension of the 20-year-old Lara Gonzalez. The talented midfielder spent most of the season with B team, but debuted in Liga F towards the end of the season. Granadilla also recently extended with Raquel Peña.
