María Portolés joins Granadilla Tenerife from another Spanish side, Madrid CFF.
The 19-year-old played with CD Tacon (known as Real Madrid nowadays), for whom she also debuted in Liga Iberdrola in the 2019/20 season. When the club was reformed, the Spanish defender played for Las Blancas B team. Before the last season, Portolés moved across the city to Madrid CFF, where she was alternating between the first and second team.
“I’m going to do everything in my power, with a lot of hard work and effort to try to leave the team as high as possible,” said Portolés, who joins Laura Ortega, who signed for Granadilla a couple of days ago.
