Maria Valenzuela renews with Levante for two more years. She will stay with the club at least until June 2024.
The 19-year-old arrived to Valencia in 2020 from their childhood club, Granada. Despite her age, the Spanish goalkeeper made 32 appearances for Granotas so far, including four in the Women’s Champions League. Currently, she is recovering from the injury she suffered back in November. Maria Korenčiova, who joined the club from Milan, is currently number one between the post.
“I am very happy to continue with this club for two more years. I am very excited, my goal is to recover from the injury and look forward to the next season,” said Valenzuela.
