Mariah Lee joins Sporting Huelva from a Danish side, Nordsjælland and will play in Liga Iberdrola in the next season.
The 26-year-old moved to Europe after finishing a college career in the United States. After a brief spell with Lugano in Switzerland, the American striker returned to the States and played for OL Reign for one season. After a brief spell with Celtic, Lee played in Denmark recently, making a total of 20 appearances.
“I can’t wait to travel to Spain and join the team and I hope to be there as soon as possible to be on the pitch and meet all the fans and…I can’t wait any longer! I hope to be there soon, I’m really looking forward to seeing you all,” said Lee, who is another summer arrival for Huelva. Maria Ruiz, Stefanie da Eira, Laia Ballesté, Zala Meršnik, Sofia Hagman, Patrycja Balcerzak, Patrícia Hmírová and Laura Blasco have already joined the club recently.
