Marta Carro extends contract with Valencia

Marta Carro extends contract with Valencia and will stay with the club until the end of the next season.
The 31-year-old started her career with Atlético Madrid, where she spent 9 years. After a brief spell in Italy with AGSM Verona, the Spanish midfielder returned to her homeland and signed with Madrid CFF, who were still in the second Spanish division at the time. She joined Valencia in 2017, extended her contract already last year, and has since made 115 appearances across all competitions. Valencia’s captain also has 7 caps for the Spanish national team.
“I am proud and happy to be able to fight for this shirt and crest for one more season. Let’s keep moving forward and continue living a black and white life,” wrote Carro on Instagram.
