Marta Torrejón renews with FC Barcelona and will play for Blaugrana at least until the end of the next season.
The 33-year-old, who initially spent 9 years with Blaugrana’s city rivals, Espanyol, joined the club in 2013. The Spanish defender is the player with second most appearances for the club. With 411 matches, Torrejon is just behind Melanie Serrano with 517. During her time in the Catalan capital, she won a total of 24 titles, including two Women’s Champions League wins.
“I am very proud to be able to continue in the best club in the world,” said Torrejón.
