After ending Women’s Champions League journey on Wednesday, Misa renews with Real Madrid. She will stay in the Spanish capital until June 2024.
The 22-year-old Misa (María Isabel Rodríguez) joined Real Madrid in 2020 from Deportivo La Coruna. The Spanish goalkeeper previously also played for Las Blancas city rivals, Atlético Madrid. Since joining Real, Misa made over 50 appearances and was one of the key players of the newly founded Real Madrid women’s section. In 2020/21 season, she also won Zamora trophy for the lowest goal-to-games ratio in Liga Iberdrola.
“Happy to announce my renewal for two more years at the club of my life. I’m looking forward to continuing to achieve my dreams and goals with this crest, this shirt and our fans,” wrote Misa on Instagram.
