Natalia Gaitán signs a new deal with Sevilla

Natalia Gaitán signs a new deal with Sevilla for an additional year, until the end of the next season.

The 30-year-old joined Sevilla before the season from Valencia, where she spent five years. The experienced midfielder started the first three matches, but then suffered a heavy injury that sidelined her for the rest of the season. After the rehab, the Colombian national team captain is expected to return to the football pitches with the start of the new season of Liga IBerdrola.

“I am very happy to be able to renew, last season was very hard for me and I hope that the next one will bring beautiful challenges to meet both individually and for the team. I am looking forward to enjoying on the field with my teammates, with the fans and that we can continue to improve in all aspects to grow at all levels. It’s a new season and I’m looking forward to it with enthusiasm, excitement and ambition to be able to do great things,” said Gaitan.
