Nuria Ligero extends with Real Betis and will stay in Andalusia at least until the end of the next season.
The 30-year-old has lived in Seville her whole life. The Andalusian native first played for Betis’ city rivals, Sevilla, for seven seasons and over 100 appearances. In 2014, the Spanish defender moved across the city and joined Betis. Since Real Betis promotion to Liga Iberdrola, Ligero, who captains the team, played 164 matches on the highest level of the Spanish women’s football.
