Pancha Lara pens a new deal with Villarreal CF and will stay with the club for two more years, until June 2024.
The 31-year-old, who played for various clubs in her native Chile before making a move to Spain, made 21 appearances for the Yellow Submarine in the last season. Including her spells with Sporting Huelva and Seville FC, the Chilean defender has 60 appearances in Liga Iberdrola. Pancha Lara also has over 50 caps for the Chilean national team.
“I am very happy to be able to continue to be linked to this club and this sporting project. I am sure that we will continue to grow together. Grateful for the trust that the coaching staff and the board have placed in me from day one,” added Pancha Lara.
