Paula Perea renews with Real Betis and will stay in Andalusia for two more years, until June 2024.
The 25-year-old Seville native started her senior career with Betis’ city rivals, Sevilla FC. After three seasons, the Spanish moved to Sporting Huelva, where she spent two years. In 2016, Perea signed for Real Betis, who were at the time in the second Spanish division. Since then, she made a total of 155 appearances across all competitions and scored four goals.
“It is an honour to be part of Real Betis, and I hope to be able to continue for many more years and give a lot of joy to Betis fans. I arrived here as a child. My home is here and if I look back I have many memories, from that promotion, to the qualification to the quarter-finals of the Copa de la Reina, as well as other more bitter ones, but above all I remember them with joy,” Perea added.
