Rasheedat Ajibade extends with Atlético Madrid

Rasheedat Ajibade extends with Atlético Madrid and will stay in the Spanish capital for three more seasons, until June 2025.

The 22-year-old arrived to Europe in 2018, when she moved to the Norwegian side, Avaldsnes IL from Nigeria. From Norway, Ajibade joined Atlético Madrid in 2021. Since then, the Nigerian international forward with 18 caps, played 30 matches and scored six goals for Rojablancas. She also won the Spanish super cup with her team.

“I am very happy to renew for three more years with Atlético de Madrid and to be able to continue defending these colours,” said Ajibade.
