Roosa Ariyo joins UD Granadilla

Roosa Ariyo joins UD Granadilla Tenerife from a Finnish side, Tikkurilan Palloseura. The Nigerian international signed a contract until June 2023.

The move to Liga Iberdrola will be the first experience abroad for the 27-year-old, who also holds a Finnish passport. In the last two seasons, she averaged a goal per game, scoring 15 goals in 15 games in Finnish Naisten Liiga.

“I am very happy to sign with UDG Tenerife. They have given me very good references of how the club works. I hope to contribute all my strengths in a very attractive competition, and I hope to repay the confidence of the management with goals and good performances. I’m already looking forward to getting to know my team-mates and the fans,” said Ariyo.
