Ruth Álvarez signs for Madrid CFF

Ruth Álvarez signs for Madrid CFF, joining the club from SD Eibar and following the footsteps of her former teammate Rachel Kundananji, who moved to Madrid a couple of days ago.

The 22-year-old played in Mallorca, where she was born, for Collerense. She made her way up through academy ranks and played for the senior team, before signing for SD Eibar in 2019. In the last two seasons, the Spanish left-back played 48 matches in the Spanish top flight. She is third summer arrival for Madrid CFF, joining Karen Araya and above-mentioned Rachel Kundananji.
