Sofía Álvarez signs for Valencia

Sofía Álvarez signs for Valencia CF, where she arrives to from a Mexican club, Querétaro FC. She signs a contract until the end of the season, with an option for an additional year.

The 21-year-old spent her whole career with Queretaro FC. In total, she made 105 appearances for the club in the First Mexican division. The right-winger, who can also play as a full-back, will move abroad for the first time in her career.

“I’m looking forward to enjoying this new experience but, above all, I want to be able to contribute and add to the team with my football. Valencia CF is one of the biggest clubs, I am very happy and looking forward to this new challenge. Now I have to give my best on the pitch,” said Alvarez.
