Sofia Hagman and Patrycja Balcerzak move to Sporting Huelva

Sofia Hagman and Patrycja Balcerzak move to Sporting Huelvaand will play in Spain for the next season.

The 25-year-old Hagman played for Kristianstads and Rosengard in Sweden before making a move to Cyprus, where she signed for Apollon Limassol in 2020. The Swedish midfielder joins her former teammate Patrícia Hmírová in Sporting.

“The Spanish league is very attractive, it’s one of the best leagues in the world right now and it has very fast football and a lot of possession. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a child to play in the Spanish league and I’m very excited about it,” said Hagman.

The 28-year-old Balcerzak joins the club from SC Sand, where she played for the last three years. The Polish midfielder previously wore jerseys of Medyk Konin and Górnik Łęczna in Ekstraklasa. Balcerzak is also a regular Polish international, having made over 30 appearances.

“I’m going to give everything in every training session, in every game, and from my teammates and the coaching staff I hope that we will be professional and add as many points as we can to define our objective and we will take small steps to achieve it,” added Balcerzak.
