Thaís Reiss moves to Villarreal

Thaís Reiss moves to Villarreal on a free transfer after most recently playing for Orlando Pride in the US.

The 24-year-old played for North Florida Ospreys throughout her college. After graduating, the Brazilian midfielder signed for Orlando Pride, for which she made a total of five appearances. Reiss, who played in various youth national teams for Brazil, will play in Europe for the first time in her career.

Villarreal also announced a contract renewal with Kayla McKenna, who will stay with the team at least until the end of the next season. The Jamaican international forward made 13 appearances and scored three goals. Paola Soldevila also recently renewed her stay with the club.
