Valencia CF sign Oriana Altuve from Real Betis where she played for the last season. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.
The 28-year-old started her career with home club Caracas and became Venezuelan champion four times in a row. After spells in Uruguay and Colombia, she moved to Europe and signed for Rayo Vallecano, where she played for two seasons. In 2020, the Venezuelan striker moved to Real Betis.
“For me, it is a tremendous joy to sign for Valencia CF and to be able to play for such an important club. I am very happy to have the opportunity to be part of this institution and I hope to be able to respond to that trust on the pitch, giving my best effort,” added Altuve.
Altuve is a second Valencia newcomer after Linda Bakker.
