Verónica Herrera moves to Granadilla

Verónica Herrera moves to Granadilla Tenerife after she completed her studies in the United States.

The 21-year-old played in the US for Reivers College since 2017. The Venezuelan defender previously wore shirts of different clubs in her home league. Interestingly, Herrera entered the Guinness World Records book as the youngest player who took part in Copa Libertadores match. While playing for Caracas FC, she was just 12 years old when she faced Nacional de Uruguay in Copa Libertadores group stage.

“Happy to be part of UD Granadilla Tenerife, a beautiful club where I will enjoy. William Carey University will remain in my heart. Thanks to the people who have always trusted me,” wrote Herrera on Twitter.

That’s another addition to Granadilla’s team after Gisela Robledo‘s arrival last week.
