Yerliane Moreno extends with Granadilla Tenerife

Yerliane Moreno extends with Granadilla Tenerife and will stay with the club for three more years, until June 2025.

The 21-year-old played in her native Venezuela before making a move to Europe and joining Granadilla in 2020. After her arrival, the Venezuelan midfielder played 11 matches. She renewed her contract last year but later suffered a knee injury and missed the whole season. She has already returned to the pitch, hoping to return to the previous level.

“I’m very happy, after so long away from the pitch I’m back. I consider this to be my home, my team-mates have supported me all this time and I couldn’t feel more loved. I didn’t know when I was going to play again, I worried a lot and I had to be very strong mentally,” said Moreno.
