María Pry takes over Madrid CFF after Victor Miguel Fernandez was sacked a couple of days ago. She will stay on Madrid’s bench until the end of the season.

The 37-year-old coach joins the club from a Chilean side, Santiago Morning. She went to Latin America after she stepped down as a Levante coach back in July. Pry worked the longest at Real Betis, who she got promoted to Liga Iberdrola. After seven years in Seville, she took over Levante in 2021 and led them to the third place in Liga Iberdrola and a spot in the Women’s Champions League.

“I am very grateful to Madrid CFF for trusting me to take over their bench. I come with a lot of enthusiasm and I want to help the club achieve its sporting objectives.
The first contact with the players has been very positive, so now we have to work hard to improve in any sporting aspect,” said Pry for the club’s website.
