Toni Payne signs a long-term contract with Sevilla that will keep her in Andalusia at least until June 2024.
After her college career at Duke, Payne’s first stop in European football was Ajax. In 2018, she joined Sevilla from the Dutch side and has established herself as a key player in the Cristian Toro’s team, who also extended his contract recently. In this season she has played 33 league games, starting most of them from the start, and scored five goals.

“I’m excited and excited to continue here and to be able to continue helping the team, I feel very comfortable in Sevilla. I’ve been here for three years, I like the club’s project and I want to continue growing here. I’ve learnt a new style of football, I’ve improved a lot by learning from my coaches and my teammates and I want to continue doing so,” Payne added.
