Alessandro Spugna renews with AS Roma and will stay in charge of Giallorosse until the end of the next season.
The 48-year-old has been appointed as Roma coach one year ago, when he succeeded Betty Bavagnoli who took position as a Head of Roma Women’s Football. Former Empoli coach has led Giallorosse to their best season ever despite failing to win a trophy. In Serie A Femminile, the club from the Italian capital finished on the second place, behind Juventus. Bianconere also defeated Roma in the final of Coppa Italia Femminile.
“I am very happy to be able to continue my journey in this club, I feel the trust from everyone and for this I thank Betty Bavagnoli,” added Spugna.
