Andressa Alves extends with AS Roma

Andressa Alves extends with AS Roma and will add another year to the contract that was initially expiring in June.

The 29-year-old has experience from Brazil, US, France, and Spain, where she spent the longest with Barcelona. In 2019, the Brazilian midfielder joined Roma. Since then, she played 63 matches and scored 23 goals across all competitions. In the recently finished season, Alves was also named Serie A midfielder of the year and helped Giallorosse qualify for Women’s Champions League for the first time ever.

“I am delighted to be able to play for Roma for another season. It’s a club I have learned to love over these last few years, with an incredibly passionate fanbase. I will always do my best to represent this club well, the fans can be sure of that,” added Alves.
