Anja Sonstevold moves to Roma

Anja Sonstevold moves to Roma from a fellow Serie A Femminile side, Inter. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.

The 31-year-old has played in Italy since 2021, when she signed for Nerazzurre. Previously, the Norwegian full-back wore shirts of Kolbotn and LSK Kvinner in Norway and Fleury 91 in France. During her time in Milano, Sonstevold made 54 appearances and scored two goals for Inter.

“It’s a great honor to be here, I’m really happy. As soon as I received the call I had no doubts about choosing Roma, the best team in Italy in recent seasons”, said Sonstevold.
