Apolonia Berti signs for Napoli and moves to Italy from her native Argentina, where she played for Newell’s Old Boys.

The 19-year-old has played for Newell’s her whole career. The daughter of Alfredo Jesus Berti, who is Newell’s Old Boys legend, played in Primera C league and will go into the club’s history books for being the first Leprosy player to score a goal in an AFA tournament. 9 goals in 12 matches were enough for Napoli to offer the Argentinian forward a contract until the end of the next season.
