Beata Kollmats joins AS Roma

Beata Kollmats joins AS Roma from BK Häcken, where she played her whole career. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.

The 29-year-old joined Häcken already in 2011. Since then, the Swedish centre-back played over 100 matches in Damallsvenskan. Since 2018, Kollmats also captained the team which played in the Women’s Champions League in the current season.

“I am honoured to join Roma. The club aims to achieve great things and I want to be part of this adventure. I think I can grow a lot here and at the same time I hope I can help the team with my experience,” said Kollmats.

Beata Kollmats is the second Swedish addition for Roma, after Emma Lind joined the club a few days ago.
