Benedetta Glionna transfers to AS Roma from the current Italian champions, Juventus. She signed a contract for the next season.
The Italian forward, who will turn 22 in a few weeks, joined Juventus in 2017, when Bianconere women’s team was founded. After winning two titles in Serie A Femminile, she was sent on loan to Verona in 2019. Last season she spent on loan again, with Empoli Ladies. So far, Glionna made 72 appearances in Serie A and scored 28 goals.
“I’m really happy to start this adventure because Roma is a great club. I am thrilled to be able to be part of this team that is continuing to grow season after season,” Glionna said.
