Benedicte Haaland joins Hellas Verona

Benedicte Haaland joins Hellas Verona from Icelandic club, Selfoss. She signed a contract until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has already played in different countries around Europe. After a few years in Norway, Haaland moved to Switzerland and signed with Lugano. After one year, she moved to Bristol City, who played in the Women’s Super League at the time. Last few months, she spent on Iceland. The young Norwegian goalkeeper will try to get more playing time between the posts of Verona, who are currently last in Serie A Femminile with just one point.
