Camelia Ceasar signs a new deal with Roma and will stay in the Eternal city at least until June 2024.
The 24-year-old was born in Romania but grew up in Italy. She started her career with Torino and became a number one between the post at very young age. After Torino got relegated, the Romanian goalkeeper moved to Brescia to stay in Serie A Femminile. After Milan acquired Brescia’s rights, Ceasar became a 2nd choice goalkeeper for Rossonere, thus moved to Roma in 2019. Since then, she made 43 appearances and for Giallorosse, with whom she won the Italian cup in the last season.
“Roma’s ambitions correspond to my own personal ambitions: to grow in order to win. This shirt gets under your skin, even if you were born many miles away, and from day one I thought these colours deserved to be on the top stages in Italy and Europe,” said Ceasar.
