Cecilia Salvai extends with Juventus and will stay in Torino for two more years, until June 2024.
The 28-year-old joined Juventus, when the women’s section was formed in 2017. Before that, the Italian defender played for various Italian clubs, including Verona, Brescia, and Torino. She also had a brief spell in Switzerland with Lugano. After joining Bianconere, the Italian international, with 36 caps, has so far made 92 appearances for Juve. Currently, Salvai is still recovering after an injury that she suffered on the last matchday of 2021.
“For me, the day you renew your contract is always special. I’ve been thinking about it for days because it just has to be a special day. It’s not something I take for granted,” said Salvai.
