Ella Mastrantonio signs for Pomigliano Calcio after playing the first half of the season with Lazio.
The 29-year-old spent the biggest part of her career in Australian W-League, where she played for Perth Glory, Melbourne Victory and Western Sydney Wanderers. Over the years, she played over 100 matches in the highest level of Australian football. In 2020, the Australian midfielder, with 7 caps for the national team, moved to the Women’s Super League, where she spent one season with Bristol. At the beginning of the current season, Mastrantonio moved to the Italian capital, where she played 8 matches in the first half of Serie A Femminile.
“My experience in Serie A has been very good, I have been very impressed with the quality and level. I am very honoured to be in Pomigliano, very thankful for the opportunity. It’s a great club, I have enjoyed every moment since I’ve been here and I can’t wait to battle for the club for the rest of the season,” said Mastrantonio.
