Evelyne Viens moves to AS Roma

Evelyne Viens moves to AS Roma from a Swedish side, Kristianstad. She signed a three-year deal, until June 2026.

The 26-year-old played for Dynamo Quebec and Gotham FC before making a move across the Atlantic. Initially as a loaned player, she played for Paris FC and Kristianstad. Last year, the Canadian forward stayed in Sweden on a permanent basis. Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medal winner with the Canadian national team become the first Canucks’ player in Roma history.

“I am really excited to have arrived at Roma. It’s a club with big ambitions and it’s an honor to be a part of it. I can’t wait to take the field in these colors and help the team win trophies,” added Viens, who joins Martina Tomaselli, Eseosa Aigbogun, Tinja-Riikka Korpela, Laura Feiersinger, Barbara Latorre and Saki Kumagai as the latest newcomer.
