Fiorentina sign Jazmin Jackmon, who joins the club from a Serbian side, Spartak Subotica. She signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old started as a college football player. After graduating, the American defender signed up for NWSL draft and had been selected by Houston Dash. Last year, Jackmon made a move to Europe, joining the Serbian side, which also participated in the Women’s Champions League.
“I think there is a huge opportunity here in terms of growth of the club and the league becoming professional. I was very eager to get here and now I am just focused on seizing the moment and growing with my teammates,” said Jackmon, who joins Jenna Menta, Miriam Longo, Kaja Eržen, Milica Mijatović, Rachele Baldi, Alice Parisi, Zsanett Kajan and Laura Agard as the latest summer arrival.
