Fiorentina sign Vero Boquete from AC Milan, where she played for the last two seasons. She signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old Spanish striker with vast experience from different clubs across different countries wanted to leave Milan due to lack of playing time. Boquete, who played over 50 matches for the Spanish national team, played for Espanyol before moving to the US. After that, she also played in Russia, Sweden, China, in Germany, where she wore Bayern and Frankfurt’s shirt and for Paris Saint-Germain in France. Boquete arrived to Italy in 2020, when she signed for Rossonere and renewed contract back in May.
“It’s the right club for me, I want to give everything I have. Fiorentina has a different mentality, the Viola Park is the perfect centre for women’s football,” said Boquete.
