Giulia Rizzon extends with Como

Giulia Rizzon extends with Como Women and will play for the Serie A Femminile debutant also in the next season.

The 28-year-old joined Como in 2019 from Mozzanica. Since then, the Italian defender has become one of the crucial players, achieving the goal of promotion to the Italian top flight in the last season. Como’s captain scored five goals in 26 matches to contribute to the historic success.

“I am very happy to have reached this goal together with President Stefano Verga. I joined his project three years ago, when he convinced me by telling me that he wanted to reach the top series within three years. I am honored that he still gave me the opportunity to represent him on the field by wearing the Como jersey for the fourth consecutive year,” said Rizzon.
