Julie Nowak and Giorgia Tudisco sign for Sassuolo

Julie Nowak and Giorgia Tudisco sign for Sassuolo. They are joining the club from HB Køge and Pomigliano Calcio respectively.

The 26-year-old Nowak has so far played for BSF, Nordsjælland and most recently, for Køge in her native Denmark. With the club from Eastern Denmark, she also won the Danish championship for the last two years. Going abroad for the first time in her career, the Danish forward joins Eleonora Goldoni, Melissa Bellucci, Sara Mella, and Giusy Moraca who signed for Neroverde recently.

“I have always wanted to live abroad, Sassuolo was the opportunity for me to do so. In addition, I have been following the Italian Serie A for a couple of years now. My goal is to improve both on a personal level and as a team. Sassuolo’s last two seasons have been crazy, I think we can dream of something big this year,” said Nowak.

Giorgia Tudisco returns to Sassuolo after two seasons with Pomigliano Calcio. The Italian midfielder already wore Neroverde shirt between 2017 and 2019, making a total of 13 appearances during that time.

“I am so happy to return to Sassuolo after three years and to be part of this great family again! I am full of energy and I have a great desire to face new challenges with this club,” said Tudisco.
